Below is an easy step-by-step process of what you can expect during this transaction:
You will get an email confirmation from the SBA assigning you a Loan number/Case Number.
One of our trusted signing services will be contacting you by phone and/or email to schedule a live in-person signing, or a virtual signing* *Subject to availability per State, or Recording Jurisdiction.
The actual signing of the documents.
After completion of documents, the notary will return the documents for review.
The mortgage/modification document(s) will be sent for recording, and the SBA will be notified of completion of the signing.
The SBA will process and distribute funds to you. THAT’S IT!
Some important things to consider:
Our signing service will attempt to call or email you a few times. If we are unable to reach you to execute the documents within 72 hours, the SBA may consider this file cancelled, and the process may need to restart from the beginning.
If your property lies within a Flood zone, please have a copy of your Insurance declaration page to show that Flood insurance was obtained.
Please have a copy of your Driver’s License or a valid ID at the time of signing.
Please have a voided check if, you are changing the bank information (For funding purposes)
